The very first product I want to review is the Lauren B. Beauty nail growth serum. As I really suffer from fragile, brittle nails, and it's not that they refuse to grow, they grow, but aren't strong enough to last more than several weeks and break off. So I wouldn't be able to give an honest opinion right away, I want to give it time, but I can tell you my first thoughts on applying the serum. It does have a very thin brush and the serum is thick and viscous. The suggested use it to apply to bare nails once or twice a day. It also suggested brushing it on nails before applying polish, that the serum would sink in. I waited about five minutes and my nail was still a little tacky, so I went on and applied my polish on anyways, and the polish went on smoothly. I'll give a more updated review next month if it's worth the $75.
I have a special place in my heart for peppermint essential oil. Just the smell of it gives me an energetic pick me up. While I'm ok using bars of soap, I prefer liquid soap, and my first reaction to this hand and body soap is it was a little more liquid than I like. I like my soap a little thicker, so as it doesn't run through my fingers. If I had anything critical to say, it would be that, because this is a strong working soap. It truly deep cleans and nourishes the skin. My skin, not only felt energized, and I was surprised that my skin didn't feel overly dry. The salt does detoxify the skin, and I did feel a nice tingle. Although, Petit Vour says it would be ok to use on the face, if you choose too, just be sure not to get too close to your eyes.
The item I was most excited about receiving was Jane Iredale's Lip Drink Lip Balm with SPF in 'Flirt'. In Fall especially my lips get really super dry and I'm never without any lip balm. This is a $17 lip balm, and it's a keeper. It definitely quenches your lips and provides hydrating protection that truly leave your lips super soft. The color for me is really pretty; it's a softer shade of rose and has a nice lemon scent.

The next item, is The SeaWeed Bath Co. Firming Detox Cream. My daughter uses their balancing shampoo with Argan oil, because she does have thick and at certain times of year her hair tends to get oily. It does really help her hair stay strong and healthy. From Petit Vour's website, this cream contains
"Organic, sustainably-harvested bladderwrack seaweed with 65+ vitamins and minerals naturally detoxifies and promotes skin elasticity. Antioxidant-rich green coffee bean extract helps to detoxify and protect the skin against damaging free radicals. Detoxifying green tea extract, rich in potent antioxidants, protects and moisturizes. Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture while strengthening the skin’s natural barrier.
Best to minimize the appearance of cellulite and improve skin appearance. "
It is a very thick and luxurious cream, which didn't sink in right away and I enjoyed just massaging it in. What I love most about it is how nourishing it helps my skin feel, without feeling greasy. I'm not a huge fan of rosemary, but it does have a delightful scent of rosemary, not over powering at all. I'm going to test this one over the course of the month on my left hand to see if there is any difference between my right and left, and give my thoughts on it next month.
